About this show
Singapore, get ready. The heavy intensity of Italian gothic metal legends LACUNA COIL will ignite Esplanade Annexe Studio on February 9, 2026, as part of their Sleepless Empire Tour — proudly presented by LAMC, as part of Singapore Rockfest concert series.
Renowned for their shape-shifting sound that fuses gothic darkness, melodic mastery, and raw ferocity… LACUNA COIL continue to stand as one of the most influential forces in modern metal. Their electrifying live shows, now larger, louder, and more ambitious than ever, are set to deliver an unforgettable night of intensity and spectacle.
With over two million albums sold worldwide and a fiercely loyal global following, the band most recently unveiled their acclaimed new record, Sleepless Empire (2025). The album has been hailed as one of their boldest works yet, venturing into more experimental territory while staying true to their core. Publications like KERRANG! praised it for its haunting power, declaring: “…these are Lacuna songs through and through…and its lingering notes of darkness just make you want to play the whole thing again.”
Sleepless Empire also introduced new fan favorites such as “Never Dawn”, “I Wish You Were Dead”, and “Hosting the Shadow” (featuring Randy Blythe of Lamb of God), tracks that have already become staples in the band’s explosive live set.
From headlining international tours to sharing stages with heavyweights like Gojira, Machine Head, and In Flames, LACUNA COIL remain a commanding presence both on and off stage. Now, Singapore fans will once again witness their unmatched theatricality, blistering riffs, and spellbinding energy up close!
ABOUT THE ARTIST:
If you know Lacuna Coil, you’ll know that every album in their storied career is more than just sound—it’s a richly textured soundtrack to a moment in time. With Sleepless Empire, that place is dark, cinematic, and unmistakably true to the qualities that have made the band a celebrated force in heavy music.
According to founding songwriter Marco “Maki” Coti Zelati, the real creative spark for Sleepless Empire began with the release of Comalies XX in 2022, a reimagining of their landmark 2002 record. “It was more than an epic and rapturously received reinvention,” he explains. “It aligned the past, the present, and the future of Lacuna Coil as we take our first steps into the fourth decade of our career.”
Lacuna Coil are: Cristina Scabbia, Andrea Ferro, Marco “Maki” Coti Zelati, and Richard Meiz.
